Chelsea youngster Filip Lissah has spent the past month on trial at Derby County with the versatile defender seemingly looking to earn a scholarship deal at Pride Park.
Lissah came through the ranks at Chelsea and featured heavily for the youth teams.
He started the KDB Cup final in 2019 against RKC Genk, with Chelsea’ U15s coming out on top in a penalty shootout after an initial 2-2 draw with the Belgian side.
Lissah then went on to feature for the Chelsea U18s but struggled for regular game-time.

Now, the talented youngster is training with Derby’s academy sides and featured in the Rams’ past three U18 games against Burnley, Sunderland and Wolves.
Lissah isn’t the only youngster currently on trial, as former West Ham United kid Courtney Clarke also joined the club earlier this month and featured in the same games.
Clarke has more experience, having previously played senior football at non-league level.
Both players will be hoping to impress with a pathway to first-team football.

Derby have one of the most productive academies in England right now. The Rams U18s won the Premier League 2 in 2019, with several players now stepping up.
Max Bird, Louie Sibley, Lee Buchanan and Jason Knight are around the first team, while Jayden Bogle and Kaide Gordon have been sold to Premier League clubs since last year.
