The 20-year-old had been starring for the Rams U23 side. A month away playing senior football, however, will further aid his development and Hunt made his debut this past weekend.
Aldershot picked up all three points as they defeated Stockport County 2-1 away from home. Hunt was a key performer, and some fans praised his role on Twitter.

Does Max Hunt have a future at Derby County?
Hunt stands at 6ft 6inch and is an imposing central defender. His height makes him a key player in both boxes at set-pieces, while he has made improvements on the ball.
The Rams academy player joined from Matlock Town in January 2018. In his first full season at Pride Park last year, he made 19 appearances for Darren Wassall’s development side.
Aldershot are 20th in the table, three points above the drop zone. It has been a quick learning curve for Hunt, and now senior football in the Conference should toughen him up.

Derby’s senior squad are short on natural central defenders. At 33, captain Richard Keogh’s time at the Championship club is winding down so the Rams must have one eye on the long-term situation.
