The games are coming thick and fast now as Derby County head to Oxford United in the Championship on Tuesday night.
Derby County recorded their first away point on the board against Millwall at the weekend as Jerry Yates’ late goal was pegged back by substitute Mihailo Ivanovic.
The Rams will have been pleased to come away from East London with a point on the board, especially with Yates scoring his first goal but the games don’t come much easier.
Paul Warne’s men will be looking to repeat the trick on Tuesday night, with Derby travelling to the Kassam Stadium to take on an Oxford side who are unbeaten at home in the Championship.

Sam Parkin predicts Oxford United vs Derby County
Oxford were promoted alongside Derby last term. Josh Murphy struck a brace in the League One play-off final against Bolton to send the U’s into the second tier.
Des Buckingham’s men have since started the new campaign in decent form, and are currently level on points with the Rams after 10 matches played.

| 12 | 10 | 4 | 1 | 5 | 13 | 13 | 0 | 13 |
It promises to be a tight midweek encounter, with EFL pundit Sam Parkin predicting Oxford to edge out Derby 1-0 in a ‘difficult’ match for the visitors.
Speaking on the Championship Check-In podcast, Parkin said: “Yeah, I think both good outcomes for them at the weekend. Again, difficult for Derby, then Oxford away from home. Not loads of clear chances again from what I saw in the Oxford West Brom game.
“I think I’ll go for Oxford by the odd goal. I’m going to go for Oxford one, Derby nil.”

Derby County team news ahead of Oxford United
Warne has been hit with a couple of fresh injury blows as he prepares his side for a tough Championship encounter.
Ryan Nyambe will miss fixtures against Oxford and Hull City at the very least, with Warne confirming the extent of his knee injury in the draw at Millwall.
The natural replacement for Nyambe at right-back is Kane Wilson, who will need to uphold a similar high-quality standard as the 26-year-old.
Nyambe isn’t the only injury concern heading into this match. David Ozoh was nearing a return from a hamstring injury but the Crystal Palace loanee now looks unlikely to be involved against Oxford.
Warne was boosted by the return of defender Jake Rooney last week alongside Tom Barkhuizen and Liam Thompson however, the trio are unlikely to feature in this contest.
Meanwhile, the only absentee for Derby is attacking midfielder Tawanda Chirewa, who should be back available in the next couple of weeks.
With injury troubles to some key players, there’s no surprise that Parkin is predicting a ‘difficult’ match for Derby but they’re more than capable of snatching a point, or perhaps all three.
