Derby County loanee Scott Malone scored a sensational solo effort for Millwall on Saturday as they thrashed relegation threatened Sheffield Wednesday 4-1.
The gangly wing-back managed to flick the ball over the head of an onrushing Owls defender before firing a volley into the bottom left-hand corner.
It was the 29-year-old’s fourth goal for the Lions following his loan switch from the Rams at the beginning of the season.

With both Lee Buchanan and Craig Forsyth preferred over the former Fulham man at the time, it was no surprise to see Malone return to the capital once the offer was made and it appears the move has rejuvenated his career.
Derby fans took to Twitter to share their opinions after the left-back’s wonder strike.
MORE DERBY STORIES
It is perhaps unlikely that we shall ever see Malone in a Derby shirt again with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Derby are likely more than content with Buchanan and Forsyth as their left-back/ left-wing-back options for the time being and you would certainly not bet against Gary Rowett trying to sign the defender permanently on a free in the summer.

Malone has made 56 appearances for the Rams in all competitions since signing from Huddersfield Town in 2018, registering three goals and three assists in the making.
