Derby County landed back-to-back wins in the Championship after securing another victory over Cardiff City.
The Rams have had a decent start to life back in the second tier, picking up three wins from their opening five games of the season.
All of those points have come at Pride Park, with the crowd proving vital once again for the visit of the Bluebirds.
Derby started brightly and put that to good use as Jerry Yates and Callum Elder combined on the left before the full-back put in a tantalising ball into the box.
A dummy from Kayden Jackson created space for the onrushing Kenzo Goudmijn, who emphatically finished his second goal in as many games.
It wasn’t all easy for the home side though, with Cardiff putting the pressure late on, but the Rams held on to take all the points.
While many left the stadium overjoyed, there was also bemusement as to how, just seconds earlier, Ebou Adams missed an open goal.

Ebou Adams and Derby players react to horror miss
Late in the game, Adams showed his trademark energy to chase down a loose ball to Cardiff goalkeeper Jak Alnwick.
The Gambian international surprisingly won a header against the shot-stopper and had a clean run through on goal.
His tired legs appeared to get the better of him though as his effort was put wide, unable to double the lead.
It, rather fortunately, didn’t matter for Derby in the end as they took all three points and as a result, became a key talking point.
Adams went onto social media shortly after to break his silence over the situation, apologising to the fans and team.
“Alhamdulillah x3,” the midfielder said on Instagram. “Honestly I don’t know how I managed that apologise!
“But on the other hand buzzing for Kenzo Goudmijn, great performance from the boys and I hope you enjoyed it #uptherams.”
His teammates took to the comments to reply, with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing saying: “[Laughing emojis] Ay bro, nobody else would have made that opportunity, it’s all good.”
Eiran Cashin added: “[Laughing emojis] some player bud… shooting practice Monday.”
There was plenty of love from the likes of David Ozoh, who said: “Love u bro” and Kenzo Goudmijn who added: “My guy”.

Derby County midfield is starting to click
Despite the miss from Adams late in the game, the match showed that once again the Derby midfield is starting to click into place.
The Gambian international had an impressive performance, while two goals in two from Goudmijn will only see him grow in confidence.
Ozoh’s injury from the clash will come as a concern though, given how well he has performed so far in a Rams shirt.
This means that some changes may be required for the trip to Sheffield United, but there is a better base from which to work now than at the start of the season.
