Former Derby County manager Frank Lampard has emerged as a front runner to become manager of a team in the Championship.
The 45-year-old has been out of work since leaving his caretaker job at Chelsea at the end of last season, the club where he became a legend as a player.
He had a spell as Chelsea manager previously, along with Everton and Derby.
He took the Rams to the Championship play-off final in his only season in charge at Pride Park in the 18/19 season, losing 2-1 to Aston Villa to miss out on promotion to the Premier League.
He is now said to be potentially making a return to Championship management.

According to TEAMTalk, Lampard has emerged as a potential replacement for current manager David Wagner at Norwich City.
The 52-year-old is under intense pressure at Carrow Road, having only picked up one point in his last six games.
They were booed off in their last game, a 3-1 defeat at home to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday afternoon.

Despite making the play-off final, many think he should have done a lot better with the team he had despite it being his first managerial job since retiring in 2017.
His squad that he had for that season boasted the likes of now England internationals Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.He has also been heavily criticised since for starting Mason Bennett in the play-off final, a decision which baffled many on the day and still does to this day.
