Some Derby County supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on Andre Wisdom’s performance as the Rams lost 3-2 to Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Derby were the better team against City for large spells of the game.
Poor defender, however, let the Rams down as the Robins clearly exploited a weakness in Derby by scoring all of their goals via crosses from out wide.

Derby fullbacks Max Lowe and Jayden Bogle were poor in defending the wingers.
But several Derby fans thought Wisdom also had a game to forget as the former Liverpool man struggled to win headers and get the better of City’s strikers.

Wisdom should be nowhere near this team #dcfc

Andre Wisdom proving why he’s not been close to most of our starting 11s since he re-signed, completely at fault for 2 goals and awful on the ball all night.
It’s ashame, as we played well for the majority of the night. Frustrating. #dcfc #dcfcfans

Watched the highlights back, in every single goal wisdom loses his man and in every single one they either end up setting it up or scoring. Can he really be trusted at CB?

Wisdom and Lowe at fault for all 3 goals

Bristol City were on the back foot for the best part of 30 minutes before netting twice before half-time. Both goals were avoidable and frustrating for the Rams.
Derby came out lethargic in the second period, and the Robins netted another goal which sealed the three points despite a spirited comeback from Phillip Cocu’s side.
The failure to sign a new central defender in January is hurting Derby.
Wisdom has moved from right-back into the middle to replace the ageing Curtis Davies. At times he has looked assured, but at Ashton Gate he was anything but.
The 26-year-old won four aerial duels. However, Bristol City striker Famara Diedhiou won nine and scored the third goal. It was clear who came out on top in the duels.

Defeat leaves Derby in 13th position in the Championship table. Any lingering hope of a playoff spot is now surely over as they fall ten points behind the top six.
