Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk told The Star his side need to assess Fernando Forestieri this week with the player ruled out of the clash with Derby County.
The Rams host Sheffield Wednesday at Pride Park on Wednesday evening.
Derby head into the Championship game with players such as Tom Huddlestone, Matt Clarke, Graeme Shinnie and Mason Bennett ruled out with injuries.

Wednesday, meanwhile, have their own injuries to contend with ahead of the encounter and one of those is former Derby County transfer target Fernando Forestieri.
Speaking to the Sheffield Star, Monk hinted his niggle could be worse than expected.

It could possibly be a little bit longer (with Fernando). We will have to wait and see whether this week is going to be good for him or not. I have to keep assessing it. We have to be careful (with Fernando). He has had inconsistency or so in the last two years.
Forestieri picked up his injury in the away victory over Charlton Athletic. The former Watford man was tipped to be out for around 10 days, but now it will end up being longer.
The attacker has a history with Derby. Back in the summer of 2016, the Rams reportedly made a £7 million bid to sign him after just missing out on promotion.
Forestieri was a firm favourite with the Owls at the time. He notched 15 goals in the 2015-16 campaign, helping the Yorkshire side reach the Championship playoff final.
Injuries have since restricted the 29-year-old Argentine. He has only made two Championship starts this season, with another ten appearances coming off the bench.
