Derby County striker Jack Marriott has told RamsTV how his side are looking forward to the trip to Nottingham Forest next weekend as they look to put right their away form.
The Rams will head to Forest after beating Middlesbrough 2-0 at home.
The victory over Boro was Derby’s fourth straight win at Pride Park. The Rams have no problems on their own patch, yet away from home it has been a struggle.

Derby haven’t won away since the opening game of the campaign. Their last two away days have been disappointing defeats at Charlton Athletic and Hull City.
But Marriott assures supporters the team will be ready, telling RamsTV:
We’ve got a strong bond between the group, so we’ll be constantly fighting to put that right [the poor away record]. We’ll go away next week and give our all and our best to win the game. We’ll all be ready. As you expect, it’s as big a game as there is for us and the fans. We’re going into the game positive and we’re all looking forward to it.
How Derby can take momentum into the Forest match:
Derby have already played Forest this season in the Carabao Cup. That ended in a 3-0 win for the Reds, but little can be taken from it after both teams made several changes.
The Rams’ recent struggles have largely been down to a lack of creativity. Against Boro, however, a change in formation saw them carve out several decent opportunities.
Jack Marriott and Chris Martin started as a front two while Tom Lawrence played as a central number 10 in a diamond system which got the best out of Derby’s key players.
Derby were braver on the ball, pressed higher in central areas and pinned Boro back. The Rams must play the same way at Forest and really get after the Reds.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side will be favourites. The Reds sit in fifth place in the Championship table following their 2-1 win over struggling Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
