Paul Warne’s Derby County has been looking for a consistent goalscorer since the start of the transfer window.
The Derby boss has signed two strikers this summer in Kayden Jackson and Jerry Yates. However, neither player has had a 15-goal season in the Championship before.
Last season, Jerry Yates netted eight times in 43 games for Swansea City and Kayden Jackson scored just three goals in 29 games for Ipswich Town.
Derby’s biggest weakness is in the attacking department with Paul Warne fearing a lack of goals – he has admitted that he wants to add another striker before the end of the transfer window.
Derby could sign several talented free-agent strikers which might help the Rams going forward.
Aaron Connolly

Connolly was most recently playing for Hull City but he was released at the end of last season after scoring eight goals in 28 games for the Tigers.
The Irish international is available for the Rams to sign and would help provide more firepower along the front line.
At just 24 years old, the former Brighton and Middlesbrough attacker could prove to be more of a long-term addition.
Tyrese Campbell

Tyrese Campbell was meant to be the next big thing at Stoke City, however, it didn’t work out for the 24-year-old.
He was released after last season when he scored just three goals in 23 games in a year that was also ravaged by injury problems.
Campbell is known for his pace and would help fix what is an ageing Derby County squad lacking in a lot of speed up front.
Wesley Moraes

It is rare to see a former £22 million-plus Premier League player available as a free agent, but Wesley Moraes has suffered many injury problems that halted his career.
The Brazilian attacker moved to Aston Villa for £22m from Club Brugge in 2019 but soon faced a severe cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for over a season.
The 27-year-old most recently played for Stoke City and made 20 Championship appearances last season. A fresh start could be exactly what Moraes needs to kickstart his career.
Admiral Muskwe

Most recently of Luton Town, Admiral Muskwe is another pacey striker who hasn’t been able to find a consistent home during his career.
The 25-year-old had spells at Leicester City, Fleetwood Town, and Exeter and plays primarily as a target striker who likes to get in behind the defence.
He would be useful in complimenting the likes of James Collins who likes to hold the ball up for Derby.
