Some Derby County supporters have taken to Twitter to show their disappointment in Max Hunt joining Carlisle United following his Aldershot Town loan deal.
Hunt joined Aldershot on an initial one-month loan back in September.
Several excellent performances then prompted the Shots to extend his deal until January. He went on to make 21 appearances for the Vanarama National League side.

Now, Derby have decided to move him on permanently as Hunt joins Carlisle United in League Two. Taking to Twitter, some fans admit they are gutted to be losing him.

Congratulations Max on a good move to a fine club. Lucky to have had you at @OfficialShots and I just wonder if the Rams have been a tad hasty? Good business for Carlisle. Good luck old son 🔴🔵

Hunt joined Derby from Matlock Town in January 2018.
He has made rapid progress, featuring regularly for the U23s before joining Aldershot on loan this term. Hunt often exceled for the Vanarama National League side. He was named in the National League Team of the Week on more than one occasion.
Standing at 6ft 6inch, the 20-year-old is tall, strong in the air and good with the ball at his feet. He has shown he is ready for a challenge further up the football pyramid.
Hunt’s contract at Derby was expiring this coming summer.
The Rams have decided to sell him now rather than lose him on a free in June.
Phillip Cocu’s side are short on defenders. Craig Forysth is out of contract in June while Matt Clarke’s loan deal finishes at the end of the season.

Curtis Davies, 34, could be Derby’s only senior central defender come this summer.
