Derby County head to The Valley to face Charlton Athletic this weekend and manager Phillip Cocu has a strong line-up to choose from following the international break.

Some Derby supporters were cursing their luck following reports Jayden Bogle and Krystian Bielik suffered injuries this past week, but Cocu says they are both fit.

Here we predict how Derby will line up.

The only change to the back five which started against Luton Town is Scott Malone returning to the starting XI in place of Max Lowe. In a three-game week, the two left-backs will likely alternate with one starting on Saturday and the other facing Wigan Athletic next Wednesday.

Bogle’s return to the XI is a huge lift. The £10m-rated fullback has two assists in four starts this season. His attacking ability down the right flank is incredibly important.

Bielik missed both of Poland’s Euro2020 qualifiers with a thigh injury. However, Derby’s £10m summer signing has been dubbed fit to start against Charlton.

The holding midfielder helped the Addicks to promotion last season while on loan at Charlton from Arsenal. He should get a warm reception from the Valley crowd.

Graeme Shinnie’s man of the match display last time out should keep him in the side. The Scot and Bielik have the potential to be an excellent pairing at Championship level.

Derby’s front four is likely to be unchanged after the win over Luton Town.

Duane Holmes is a popular figure with the Rams. However, he was poor at Barnsley and may find himself on the bench again with Jamie Paterson retaining the no.10 role.
