Some Derby County supporters want to see Everton loanee Kieran Dowell return to Goodison Park in January amid news Jamie Paterson is set to leave.
Dowell and Paterson joined Derby on loan during the summer transfer window.
The deal to bring in Paterson from fellow Championship side Bristol City was met with some disappointment. However, to his credit, the attacker has performed well.

Bristol Live now report he is set to return to Bristol City in January.
Derby fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the report. And, some feel the Rams would be better off seeing teammate Dowell move on rather than losing Paterson.
Increasingly convinced he was a panic capture, once the club missed-out on preferred options. Send Dowell back too & Hamer can also go, if another keeper comes in to displace Roos. Draw the line under yet more recruitment mistakes.

He’s done ok imo it should be Dowell who gets sent back – nowhere near good enough!

Kieran Dowell struggles to make an impact:
Paterson has contributed far more to Derby this season. He grabbed an assist in the 1-1 draw at Leeds United, before scoring the winner in the 3-2 victory over Birmingham City.
Dowell, meanwhile, has just one assist in seven Championship starts this season.
The 22-year-old looks a shadow of the player who posted nine goals and four assists in 31 league starts during a loan spell at rivals Nottingham Forest two years ago.
Dowell is an England U21 international. He was cited as one of Everton’s brightest sparks in the Toffees academy. But now, he appears uninterested and out of sorts.
Derby demoted Dowell to the U23s to keep his fitness ticking over. In the recent 7-1 victory over Leeds United, he was outshone by Rams youngster Louie Sibley.

Where does Dowell go from here? His loan spell at Derby is until the end of the season, but without major improvement he is unlikely to make many more appearances.
