According to the Evening Express, Aberdeen are braced for bids from Derby County, Stoke City and Middlesbrough for leading scorer Sam Cosgrove this month.
The 23-year-old striker has been in sensational form this season, scoring 20 goals.
Cosgrove has already broken an Aberdeen goal scoring record before Christmas, and he is on course to score the most goals in a single season since the 1970s.
His form hasn’t gone unnoticed south of the border.

The Evening Express claim Derby, Boro and Stoke are keen on the player and Aberdeen expect the Championship trio to test their resolve this month.

It comes one year after Cosgrove penned a new contract extension at Pittodrie. The former Everton youth striker’s deal up in Scotland expires in the summer of 2022.
It has been some rise for Cosgrove. After being released by Everton, he struggled at Wigan Athletic and Carlisle United before joining the Dons for a mere £25,000.
It has been a masterstroke from Aberdeen, and now the Evening Express add it would take a ‘multi-million’ pound deal to prize him away from the club.
Derby and Boro are among the lowest scorers in the Championship. The duo have netted just 26 goals from 26 games, with only Wigan Athletic scoring fewer.
But both teams have found some form ahead of their meeting at the Riverside this weekend. In Derby’s case, they may see a new central defender as a bigger priority.

Stoke, meanwhile, may have to get players out before bringing some in. The Potters have one of the biggest squads in the league with several on higher wages.
