Derby County have announced the signing of Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh on loan for the coming season.
Ozoh, 19, is a promising youngster at Selhurst Park, having already made several appearances at Premier League level.
One of these includes a substitution against Manchester City that helped Crystal Palace recover from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
With plenty of depth in the midfield ranks for the Eagles, the decision to send Ozoh to Pride Park comes with the hopes of development.
The Valencia-born loanee is the latest name to bolster Paul Warne’s squad options, with Ebou Adams, Ben Osborn and Kenzo Goudmijn all added to the midfield this summer.

David Ozoh’s first words at Derby County
With Ozoh now officially a Derby County player for the season, the official club website sat down to discuss the move.
Speaking to RamsTV, the midfielder said on arrival at Moor Farm: “It’s good, it’s a big training ground and a lot of pitches but I’m just happy to be here.”
On picking Derby over other Championship clubs, Ozoh added: “It’s a big club with big history as well and I just felt like it was the best place to kickstart my career.”
The youngster featured nine times in the Premier League last season for Palace, with high hopes for his career at the club.
“Passion,” was the first word the new loanee said when asked what fans can expect from him this season. “Hunger, big tackles hopefully, get the crowd going but they’ll see when I step on the pitch but I just like to play for the badge.”

Derby transfer plans
With Ozoh the sixth signing through the door this summer, Derby are looking closer to having a complete squad for the coming season.
There’s still plenty of work for Warne and his staff to do though, as a few positions could do with some strengthening in the next few weeks.
A new goalkeeper will be the first priority after reports claimed that Derby have agreed a deal for Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.
Meanwhile, another striker, an attacking midfielder, a winger and another centre-back are all possible options in the current window.
