According to Polstat Sport, Derby County are keen on signing Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak who was the subject of a bid from Leeds United two years ago.

The Polish editorial claim Lech Poznan are keen to cash in on one of their best players. They seek a fee of £2.5 million for the Poland international.

Derby and Blackburn Rovers are cited in the report as suitors. But, two years ago, Jozwiak reportedly almost joined Championship rivals Leeds United for much cheaper.

With his contract expiring, Leeds looking to sign the 21-year-old in a cut-price deal.

Speaking to Sport Pl, Poznan president Karol Klimczak said in November 2017:

I can confirm that we got this offer [a bid of £180,000 plus add-ons from Leeds United] but I firmly believe that we are not interested in parting with Kamil in the winter.

Jozwiak remained at Poznan and has since become a star player in Poland:

Derby County are short on quality wide players and Jozwiak is exactly the type of player manager Phillip Cocu will be looking at to bolster his squad.

The young winger is lightening quick, skilful and a threat in the final third.

Cocu has gone about bringing through youth players to the first team since becoming Derby boss. He looks to build a young and energetic squad at Pride Park.

The likes of Jason Knight, Max Bird, Max Lowe and Jayden Bogle are now first team regulars while Morgan Whittaker and Louie Sibley are breaking through.

Jozwiak could add more energy and pace in an area Derby need to strengthen.
