According to a report by Football Insider, Queens Park Rangers are to beat several Championship clubs including Derby County to the signing of Jack Clarke.
The Tottenham Hotspur winger will join QPR on loan after breakthrough talks.
Clarke has been one of the most sought-after players this month. He made his mark last season, coming through the Leeds United academy to star in the first team.

Despite limited appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last term, the speedy winger had done enough to prompt Tottenham to sign him for a £10 million fee last summer.
Clarke was loaned back to Leeds as part of the deal. However, after failing to make a single Championship start for the Yorkshire club, Spurs pulled the plug on his loan.
MORE DERBY STORIES
His availability has caused a scramble between Championship clubs. Derby, Nottingham Forest, Millwall, Middlesbrough and Fulham have all been linked.
The Rams have lacked width all season. Tom Lawrence and Martyn Waghorn have filled in wide roles, as have central midfielders Jason Knight and Duane Holmes.
Derby have missed the quality of last season’s loanee Harry Wilson. The Welshman netted 18 goals for the Rams, leaving a huge void when he returned to parent club Liverpool.
Derby may have identified Clarke as an ideal addition to bolster their side.

The youngster, however, appears set to instead make the short trip to West London. It’s a move which arguably makes most sense for both Spurs and the player.
In an ironic twist, Clarke could make his QPR debut at home to Leeds this weekend.
