Alongside the news of Stoke striker Lee Gregory having a medical at the club today, it has also been reported by The Athletic’s Adam Leventhal that Derby have shown interest in Watford striker Isaac Success.
The 25-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Hornets this season and it has been made clear that he would be free to leave the club on loan.
The report by The Athletic also claims that fellow Championship side Huddersfield Town, along with La Liga outfit Alavés are also keen on signing the Nigerian.

Success signed for Watford from Granada in 2016, agreeing a five year deal with the former Premier League outfit at an estimated fee of around £12.5 million.
The 6ft forward has made 62 appearances in all competitions since signing for the Hornets almost five years ago, registering just five goals and five assists in that time.

In 2018, Success spent a short-term loan spell with Spanish side Malaga where he made nine appearances. He notched just the solitary assist during his time overseas.

Success certainly has a point to prove following his lack of game time in recent seasons.
Blighted with injuries, a loan spell to Derby could be exactly what Success needs to rebuild his fitness and regain the confidence he once had upon signing for Watford in the first place.
His frightening pace would certainly offer a new dynamic to the Rams who, no offence to Colin Kazim-Richards and Martyn Waghorn, are short of pace up front.
Time is running out for Wayne Rooney, however, if he is to wrap up this deal before the deadline.
