According to RMC Sport journalist Loic Tanzi, Derby County have made an offer for Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The Rams are looking to bolster their squad ahead Monday’s transfer deadline.
Derby are already down to the bare bones with Duane Holmes and Mike te Wierik having already left while George Evans and Morgan Whittaker could also depart.

Krystian Bielik picking up a potential long-term knee injury during Saturday’s win over Bristol City has weakened the Rams further, and a new midfielder could now be a priority.
Munetsi is predominantly a holding midfielder who can also cover at centre-back, and the latest reports from France claim Derby have made a move for him.

Munetsi is a Zimbabwe international who joined Reims in 2019 from Orlando Pirates.
The 24-year-old was dubbed a midfield prodigy by the Zimbabwe Times, while comparing him to former Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure who Manchester City signed for £28 million.
The 24-year-old has made 16 appearances in France’s top-flight for Reims this season, attracting interest from Premier League duo Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion.
But it is Derby who are seemingly pushing hardest for his signature ahead of the deadline.

Munetsi is versatile who can cover several positions. He is quick, strong in the tackle and reliable in possession, averaging an 84.9% pass accuracy rate this season.
Derby, meanwhile, have won their last three Championship games in succession. But to maintain momentum, the Rams must add players before the transfer window closes.
