Derby County could be a potential destination for PSV Eindhoven ace Bart Ramselaar this summer, Soccernews.nl report.
The report claims Ramselaar is one of four players who may leave PSV this summer. The others include Steven Bergwijn, Hirving Lozano and Gaston Pereiro – players sadly out of Derby’s reach.
Ramselaar, however, represents a viable transfer target and new Rams manager Phillip Cocu will know all about his capabilities.

Derby have been quiet in the transfer market so far. A deal for Graeme Shinnie had already been agreed prior to Cocu’s arrival at Pride Park. Kieran Dowell, therefore, is the only signing the Dutchman has made.
The departures of Bradley Johnson, Craig Bryson, Mason Mount and Harry Wilson from last season has left big voids to fill in Derby’s midfield. It’s a priority area to strengthen, and Ramselaar would fit the bill.

Ramselaar, 23, joined PSV in 2016 from Utrecht. He made 27 Eredivisie appearances in his first season under Cocu, scoring five goals and adding a further three assists.
The three-capped Holland international can play in several attacking midfield roles, including out on either flank. He would offer versatility for the Rams, he is young, and he could be available for a potential bargain price.

Ramselaar’s contract in Eindhoven expires in 2021. He barely featured for PSV last season, making just four substitute appearances, and the Dutch club have a competitive squad.
Derby have impressed during pre-season so far. However, Cocu’s side must not let recent results mask over the need to add more quality to the squad. The Championship is unforgiving, and the squad remains too light.
