Former Derby County goalkeeper Ben Hamer is set to sign for Swansea City on a free transfer from fellow Championship side Huddersfield Town, the BBC report.
The 33-year-old spent last season on loan at Derby.
Hamer originally moved to Pride Park as back-up to Kelle Roos after Scott Carson’s exit, but he later became the club’s number one midway through the campaign.
The experienced shot-stopper endured an inconsistent time, and he returned to Huddersfield in the summer with the Rams instead purchasing David Marshall from Wigan Athletic.
Hamer has gone on to feature 17 times for Huddersfield this season.

But with his contract expiring in Yorkshire, the BBC claim Swansea are set to sign him on a free transfer as the promotion contenders look to replace Steven Benda.
The Swans currently lie second in the Championship table behind leaders Norwich City.
But Steve Cooper’s side were rocked by the injury to Benda who suffered a long-term ankle issue in training, and they have acted swiftly to replace him with Hamer.
Hamer will provide competition to Freddie Woodman who is on loan from Newcastle United.
