According to TEAMtalk, former Derby County target Josh Bowler is set to join Blackpool on a free transfer following his release from Premier League side Everton.
Bowler joined Everton from Queens Park Rangers in 2017.
The tricky wide player enjoyed plenty of success in Everton’s youth teams, prompting in a loan spell with Championship side Hull City in the 2019-20 campaign.
TEAMtalk claimed Derby also wanted to sign Bowler on loan in 2019.

The 22-year-old, however, joined Hull and made 28 appearances that season. The Tigers later wanted to make the move permanent but couldn’t afford his £5 million price tag.

One year on and Bowler looks set for a return to the Championship with Blackpool. TEAMtalk say the youngster has a medical scheduled with the newly promoted club.
Bowler still has lots of potential. He can operate both out wide or through the middle, with former Everton youth manager David Unsworth dubbing him a terrific talent.
Derby may regret missing out on his signature this summer.
The Rams were the lowest scorers in the Championship last season. There was a clear dearth of creativity in the side, while a new striker is also a top priority.

Both Tom Lawrence and Kamil Jozwiak have talent. However, they struggled with injuries and a lack of rhythm last season and improvements will be expected next term.
Manager Wayne Rooney’s task of adding key players to the squad is made harder by the financial restraints. Moreover, there is still no conclusion to the EFL charges.
