According to VG, reported Derby County and Celtic target Kasper Junker is the subject of a £1.3 million bid from Crotone which has been dubbed unreasonable.
Junker is currently on a break after the Norwegian season finished in December.
The talented striker had a memorable 2020 campaign, finishing as the country’s top scorer with 27 goals while picking up a league medal as Bodo / Glimt ran away with the title.

Junker has certainly attracted plenty of interest, helped by scoring a fine goal at the San Siro against current Italian leaders AC Milan in an entertaining Europa League encounter.
TEAMtalk claim both Derby and Celtic are among a host of clubs keen on him.

But the latest reports from VG claims Serie A side Crotone have launched a £1.3 million bid – an offer Bodo / Glimt sporting director Frode Thomassen dismisses.
“I usually do not comment on specific bids, or which clubs are on the field, but if you said 15 million kroner, then it does not sound to me like a reasonable and good price for the top scorer in Norway. May check the email when I have eaten dinner,” Thomassen said when asked for a response.
Junker certainly showed his worth in 2020, and the January transfer window was always likely to be a time where fellow clubs come in looking to strike a potential bargain.
The Athletic say Junker is hopeful of a big move even despite new Brexit rules.
Celtic’s bid for a monumental tenth straight Scottish Premiership title seems all-but over after falling over 20 points behind Rangers in what has been a disappointing campaign for the Hoops.
Signing a player of Junker’s ilk would give Celtic a big lift going forward.

Derby, meanwhile, must add another striker to provide competition for Colin Kazim-Richards.
The Rams, however, are still waiting on their prospective takeover to go through and until that’s complete it is seemingly unlikely they will be able to add to the squad.
