According to Football Insider, Derby County are looking at a potential deal for Blackpool striker Armand Gnanduillet ahead of the January transfer window.
The French-born forward is out of contract at Blackpool next summer.
Derby are seemingly aware that Blackpool could look to sell him on in January for a cut-price fee rather than risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
Gnanduillet has been in excellent form this season. The 27-year-old has netted 12 goals in all competitions, including five in his last four appearances.
Blackpool’s surge the League One table has largely been off the back of his goals.

That said, Gnanduillet has plenty of other qualities. Standing at 6ft 4inch, he is good at holding off defenders and bringing other players into the game.
The Rams have been linked with several forward players in recent weeks, including Aberdeen’s Sam Cosgrove and Livingston’s Australian-born forward Lyndon Dykes.
Each player stands at over 6ft tall. It would suggest Derby boss Phillip Cocu is keen on a big centre-forward in the mould of PSV Eindhoven’s Luuk de Jong.
Derby have plenty of attacking strength in Chris Martin, Jack Marriott, Tom Lawrence and Martyn Waghorn. One or two, however, may not last the course under Cocu.
