According to French publication Sport24, reported Derby County and Swansea City target Samuel Grandsir is in advanced talks over a move to LA Galaxy.
The 24-year-old attacker is currently on the books of AS Monaco in France.
But Grandsir missed out on Monaco’s 25-man squad for the season, with manager Niko Kovac tasked with downsizing a huge squad of over 40 senior players.
According to Sky Sports and Wales Online, Derby and Swansea were keen on him last summer, but were unwilling to pay his £2.3 million asking price.
A deal for Grandsir ultimately never materialised with the Frenchman remaining at Monaco.

An exit in January was mooted with RMC claiming a loan deal to Sporting Kansas City was nearly done, but again the former France U21 international remained at Monaco.
Now, Sport24 claim Grandsir is in advanced talks with LA Galaxy.
The MLS giants have a recent history of attracting big names as David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ashley Cole and Javier Hernandez have all featured for them.
The climate, lifestyle and fame gives Galaxy a big advantage over their MLS rivals.
Grandsir may feel a move to the MLS could revitalise his career, while new work permit regulations would now make a move to either Swansea or Derby difficult.
Swansea certainly haven’t missed out as Steve Cooper’s side are well in the hunt for automatic promotion with attackers Andre Ayew and Jamal Lowe their leading scorers.
Ironically, the Swans strengthened their attacking options further with the arrival of England U20 international Morgan Whittaker from Derby during the January transfer window.
Derby, on the other hand, have lacked an attacking threat all season. The Rams are among the lowest scorers in the Championship, netting 25 goals in 34 games.
Kamil Jozwiak has been a bright spark, but fellow wide players Tom Lawrence, Martyn Waghorn and January addition Patrick Roberts have struggled for form.
