According to Footmercato, reported Derby County and Swansea City target Samuel Grandsir is on his way to Spanish side Real Valladolid from AS Monaco.
The 24-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a move ahead of the deadline.
Maxifoot recently claimed Monaco were actively trying to sell Grandsir, with manager Niko Kovac seeking to downsize a first-team squad containing some 40 players.

Both Derby County and Swansea City have been linked with the French winger.
Sky Sports Transfer Centre (08/09 at 18:39) highlighted the Rams’ initial interest, while Wales Online claimed Swansea were also vying for his signature.

Monaco, meanwhile, were seemingly seeking a £2.3 million fee for the winger.
Now, the latest reports from French editorial Footmercato claims Grandsir is heading to Spain to team up with Brazilian legend and club owner Ronaldo at Real Valladolid.
Swansea have begun their Championship promotion push in decent fashion, recording an impressive seven points from nine without conceding a single goal.
Derby, on the other hand, have lost their opening three matches with manager Phillip Cocu questioning the players’ attitudes following the 4-0 thrashing to Blackburn Rovers.

The Rams have endured a difficult summer. However, many supporters feel there is light at the end of the tunnel with the club’s transfer business both diligent and positive.
A new winger was evidently a top priority. Grandsir may no longer be an option, but in Kamil Jozwiak and Jordon Ibe, Derby could have an exciting wide duo on their hands.
