According to the Manchester Evening News, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers have enquired about signing Manchester United youngster George Tanner.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Morecombe who lie second bottom in League Two.
Tanner may cut his loan spell short this month. And the MEN claim United could then allow him to leave permanently in January with Derby and Blackburn keen.

The Championship duo are also joined by Portsmouth, Salford City and MLS side New York Red Bulls in taking an interest in the young fullback.
Tanner predominantly started his youth career as a forward. He made seven appearances for the United 18s back in 2015-16, before signing as an academy scholar.

Tanner then signed a professional contact back in January 2018, establishing himself as a fullback for the U23s in the Premier League 2 and UEFA Youth League competitions.
The Blackpool-born player has since joined Morecombe on a season-long loan and has featured in over 20 League Two games this season.
Derby and Blackburn are likely looking at him as an addition to their U23 sides.
The Rams currently boast one of the best youth teams in England. Their U18 side won the Premier League Trophy last season, while the U23s top the league.

Manager Phillip Cocu has brought through several players to the first team squad. Jason Knight and Max Bird have both started Derby’s last two home victories.
