According to Sky Sports, Derby County are in talks to sign Bobby Duncan from Fiorentina.
The former Liverpool man only joined the Italian side last year in a deal worth around £1.8 million after falling out with the Premier League champions.
But Duncan could now be set for a swift return to England with Derby.
Sky Sports claims the Rams are in talks with the striker, with the Championship side hoping to add him to the U23s before turning out for the first team.
Duncan has plenty of potential. Before joining Fiorentina, a report by 90Min claimed Borussia Dortmund wanted him following the success of Jadon Sancho.

The 19-year-old was often compared to Robbie Fowler during his youth years at Liverpool. His exit, however, was full of controversy amid accusations from his agent.
Duncan is in need of a fresh start, and Derby could be an ideal place to offer that.
The Rams have one of the best academies in England. The young Derby side won the Premier League Cup two years ago with several now in the first team set up.
Manager Phillip Cocu hasn’t been shy in giving youngsters the chance.
Max Bird, Jason Knight, Louie Sibley, Morgan Whittaker and Lee Buchanan have all had playing time this season while Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe were sold to Sheffield United.
Moreover, Derby’s lack of striker options following Chris Martin’s summer exit means Duncan’s path to a first-team spot would be far clearer than at other clubs.
It remains to be seen what kind of deal it is. Italian editorial Tuttomercatoweb say that a loan has been proposed, while Sky suggest it would be a permanent deal.
