According to Wales Online, Derby County are ready to move to Wigan Athletic’s Kieffer Moore but the face stern competition from a host of their Championship rivals.
Moore is seemingly set to leave Wigan following the turmoil over the past month.
The Latics went into administration, resulting in their relegation on the final day of the season after receiving a 12-point deduction despite their excellent run of form.
Manager Paul Cook has since left the club. And, Wigan’s better players are being lined up for sales with Moore attracting the interests from several Championship clubs.

Derby, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall are among the suitors.

QPR and the Lions are said to have seen their £2.5 million offers accepted.
But Wales Online claim Cardiff City are confident of pulling off a deal for the striker.
The Bluebirds crashed out of the playoffs, losing to Fulham 3-2 over two legs. Now, the Welsh side will focus on strengthening for another Championship campaign.
Moore, standing at 6ft 5inch, would provide physicality up top. He scored nine goals for Wigan this term, and Cardiff boss Neil Harris reportedly wants to build his team around him.
Derby must be on the lookout for a new forward option this summer:
Chris Martin’s contract expired and the former Norwich City man couldn’t agree a new deal at Pride Park, leaving just Martyn Waghorn and Jack Marriott for options.
Marriott has struggled with fitness problems over the past 12 months. Waghorn, now in his thirties, is out of contract with the Rams next summer.

Phillip Cocu enjoyed plenty of success at PSV Eindhoven with Luuk de Jong upfront. It seems he likes a mobile target man who can link play and score headers from crosses.
Moore arguably fits that type of striker. However, if Derby harbour any real hopes of signing him, then they will have to make their move quickly.
