According to the South London Press, Millwall are set to sign former Derby County goalkeeper target George Long on a free transfer from newly promoted Hull City.
The 27-year-old is out of contract with Hull next month.
Long was a regular for the Tigers during their 2018/19 campaign, starting 45 Championship matches as Grant McCann’s side ultimately dropped into League One.

The former Sheffield United man impressed, and according to the Mirror transfer live (Jan 3; 13:06pm), Derby had Long on their radar as they looked for a new number one.
Hulll boss McCann told the Hull Daily Mail how Long had become a leader at the club.

But following Hull’s relegation, Long struggled to retain the number one spot at the KCOM Stadium and made just eight League One appearances as the Tigers finished top.
Now, the latest reports claim Millwall are set to sign him on a free transfer.
The Lions will seemingly see Long as a decent back-up to Bartosz Bialkowski, with fellow goalkeeper Frank Fielding set to leave when his contract expires next month.

Derby, meanwhile, signed David Marshall last summer after Wigan Athletic’s relegation.
Marshall found himself sharing first-team duties with Kelle Roos towards the end of the season, but he earned himself a spot in Scotland’s Euro 2020 squad for this summer.
The Rams signed Marshall on a two-year deal, and they will likely have to replace the experienced 36-year-old in the summer of 2022 when his contract expires at Pride Park.
