According to the BBC, Swindon Town have offered a new contract to Akin Odimayo with the central defender linked with Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday.
Odimayo only joined Swindon last summer following his release from Reading.
The 21-year-old has impressed at League One level, making over 30 appearances.
A recent report in TEAMtalk claimed Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City and Preston North End are all tracking him ahead of a potential summer move.
But Swindon are desperate to keep him amid their relegation from League One, with the latest from the BBC claiming the club have offered him a new contract.

Manager John Sheridan told the Swindon Advertiser last month how he can see why Derby and Wednesday would be keen on Odimayo, despite saying he still has a lot to learn.
Odimayo can operate both in central defence and at right-back.
Wednesday’s relegation to League One should prompt a rebuild at Hillsborough. Signing young players with potential could be their best bet regards bouncing back.
Derby, meanwhile, must strengthen their defence this summer.
The Rams have seen Matt Clarke, George Edmundson and Teden Mengi return to their parent clubs following loan spells while Andre Wisdom is out of contract next month.
Odimayo could be a decent long-term option at Pride Park as manager Wayne Rooney looks to draw a line under the club’s disappointing season and build for the future.
