Reported Derby County and Charlton Athletic target Armand Gnanduillet is a free agent after having his contract with Altay mutually terminated, Fotomac report.
The French striker netted 18 goals in 36 games for Blackpool last season.
His form attracted plenty of interest. According to Football Insider, Derby were keen at the end of 2019 while D3D4 claimed Charlton Athletic were close to a deal for him.
Gnanduillet ultimately left Blackpool at the end of his contract last summer. With options aplenty, he agreed on a surprise move to Turkish second division side Altay.

His move to Izmir, however, hasn’t turned out as he planned.

Fotomac claim following a lack of first-team opportunities he has mutually ended his two-year contract at the club early as he seeks a return to England in January.
Standing at 6ft 4inch and possessing a very decent record at League One last season, the 28-year-old should have plenty of suitors on alert heading into the New Year.
Former Blackpool teammate Michael Nottingham claims Gnanduillet can be unplayable.
“He [Armand Gnanduillet] an absolute beast when he wants to be. He’s unplayable at times and he had a shift to do, which he did very well.”
Charlton are battling at the top of League One as they bid for promotion. The Addicks saw Lyle Taylor leave last summer and may view Gnanduillet as an ideal replacement.
Derby, meanwhile, are surely in the market for a new striker in January.

The Rams are among the lowest scorers in the Championship, with 34-year-old Colin Kazim-Richards currently first-choice while Martyn Waghorn’s contract expires in 2021.
Interim manager Wayne Rooney will want to strengthen in January. Gnanduillet could be a fine short-term option to provide an alternative to Kazim-Richards.
