According to TEAMtalk, reported Derby County target Morgan Fox is closing in on a move to Stoke City after his contract at Sheffield Wednesday expired.
The Rams have had a long-term interest in the Wales international fullback.
Wednesday signed Fox from Charlton Athletic in January 2017. The Yorkshire Post claim they beat Championship rivals Derby to his signature at the time.
TEAMtalk again claimed the Rams were interested last December.

Now, Fox’s contract with the Owls is up and despite manager Garry Monk’s intentions to retain him, the left-back is seemingly set to switch clubs.
Fox hasn’t appeared for Wednesday since the end of June after refusing a short-term deal.
TEAMtalk now claim Stoke are in pole position to sign him ahead of their Championship rivals.
The Potters have evidently improved under Michael O’Neill and they will feel a playoff charge is possible next season with a few more quality additions.
Derby County’s left-back situation takes another turn:
It appears manager Phillip Cocu will turn to the club’s academy for options.
Craig Forsyth penned a new deal and provides experience, while he has competed with Max Lowe throughout the campaign for a regular first-team position.
But the latest to get playing time at left-back has been another prospect Lee Buchanan.
The youngster first appeared for the Rams in the EFL Cup, scoring the winner in 1-0 win at Scunthorpe United before going on to make his Championship debut.

Buchanan then returned with the U23s. However, with Derby having little to play for during the 3-1 final day win at Birmingham City, the 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes.
Scott Malone, meanwhile, seems completely out of favour and may leave this summer.
