According to The Scottish Sun, Queens Park Rangers have seen a six-figure bid rejected for reported Derby County target Jamie Hamilton.
The Hamilton Academical defender has enjoyed rapid progress this season.
The 18-year-old only made his Scottish Premiership debut this term. And, his fine performances have begun to attract plenty of onlookers south of the border.

The Daily Mail claim Derby County, Burnley and Southampton are keen.
The latest reports from the Scottish Sun, however, say QPR have seen a bid turned down while Brighton and Hove Albion ready an offer for him.
Hamilton spent four days training with Brighton two weeks ago.
Hamilton boss Brian Rice told the Daily Record that the youngster will likely leave the club soon. The Scottish club, however, are seemingly holding out for a higher fee.
The defender is tall, strong and comfortable in possession. He likes to play the ball out from the back, a feature of his game which Premier League scouts have picked up on.
Derby are light on defensive options after the sacking of Richard Keogh this season.
Craig Forsyth’s contract with the Rams expires this summer. Curtis Davies, meanwhile, turns 35 soon and is no longer a guaranteed starter at Pride Park.

If Derby wish to add Hamilton to their ranks, then the Rams face heavy competition for his signature with Bundesliga clubs also monitoring his progress.
