Derby County earned a routine three points after a 3-0 win away at Leyton Orient in League One today.
Derby County have now won their last five League One games, and their last four in all competitions after an impressive 3-0 win against a 10-man Orient team today.
Louie Sibley opened the scoring before Nathan Mendez-Laing added a second after the break, who then ran the length of the pitch to set up Tom Barkhuizen for an easy third.
Mendez-Laing earns praise once again, and so too does Paul Warne and his Derby County side who leapfrogged Oxford United to move into 5th place of the League One table this afternoon.

Things are certainly starting to come together for Derby County.
And it comes after what’s been a tough first half of the season with many questioning whether Warne was the right man for the job just a few weeks ago.

Warne will be thankful that his side picked up maximum points in November and that they’ve started December with a win too.
There’s a tough run of games coming up against some of the teams rivalling Derby County for a spot in the top six; a home game vs Wycombe Wanderers is on the cards next weekend, before a midweek game vs Lincoln City at Pride Park, a trip to Wigan Athletic, and a midweek trip to Oxford in their final game of the year.
It’s a very tough-looking December for Derby County but they go into this run of games in a very good vein of form.
Confidence seems to be running high and Warne has an in form Mendez-Laing to count on; he’s now scored five and assisted six in League One this season.
And the Rams’ impressive squad depth will hold them in good stead this month and indeed in the second half of the season, with January also bound to play a pivotal role in their quest for promotion to the Championship.
Warne though will take matters one game at a time. Wycombe are up next and a dip in form has seen them drop down to 15th in the table, so expect the Rams to fancy themselves for another routine win at Pride Park next weekend.
