We’ve predicted Derby County’s line-up as they face Cambridge United on Saturday with the winners having the chance at moving up in the table.

On Saturday at Pride Park it will ninth against tenth as Derby County host Cambridge United.

A win for either side offers an excellent chance to take a huge step toward the playoff places.

Derby come into this one in good form, with back to back 2-0 wins in both the league and the EFL Trophy.

The Rams have also only lose one in their last five in all competitions and should be able to get the job done against Cambridge as well.

But how will Paul Warne line his side up, here is what we predict…

Derby County predicted XI

We expect a fairly strong line-up given Derby have had this mid-week off from action.

Joe Wildsmith is the ideal player to start in goal to continue his good form in recent weeks.

In the full-back positions, Craig Forsyth and Ryan Nyambe are our picks to start.

They will be joined in the defence by Eiran Cashin and Curtis Nelson who both impressed last time out.

Moving into midfield, Korey Smith and Tyrese Fornah should both play in midfield as they continue in good form.

Moving into attack, Tom Barkhuizen is our pick on the left after his solid cameo last time out.

Martyn Waghorn will start behind the striker while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing should recover from his injury to start here.

Up top, James Collins will start following his brace against Carlisle.

Derby predicted XI: Wildsmith; Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin, Forsyth; Fornah, Smith; Mendez-Laing, Waghorn, Barkhuizen; Collins.
