Derby County came from behind to take a point in their home game against Hull City in the Championship on Saturday.
Derby County complete an unbeaten three-game week with another draw, and another 1-1 as Paul Warne’s side hold Hull City at Pride Park.
The Tigers took the lead just before the hour with Xavier Simons scoring. But the Rams equalised through Dajaune Brown ten minutes later.
It’s a first league goal for academy product Brown who was unfortunately forced off with an injury towards the end of the game against Hull City.
Warne now finds his Derby County side in 12th place of the Championship table; four points above the drop zone and four away from the top six.
The Hull game boasted both negatives and positives for Warne. But one positive was the performance of Curtis Nelson, who also shone for Derby County against Oxford United in midweek.

Curtis Nelson puts in ‘big performance’ for Derby County vs Hull City
The 31-year-old Nelson has played every minute of every Championship game so far for Derby County this season.
Now in his second full season at Pride Park, Nelson has shown his Championship expertise and experience throughout, putting in another commanding display against Hull.
He and Eiran Cashin proved formidable at the back, with Hull having 11 shots compared to Derby’s 15.
Derbyshire Live gave Nelson a 7/10 rating for his performance against Hull, with journalist Leigh Curtis full of praise after the game.
He wrote of Nelson: “Derby’s best player in the first half. Had a couple of really important blocks and marshalled Chris Bedia well. Was a big performance from the centre-back who is in fine form.”
He’s is out of contract in 2025. Derby County have been urged to renew Nelson’s contract and his recent performance explain why.
