Derby County midfielder Krystian Bielik has posted on Instagram with the message ‘See you on Saturday’ as he seemingly dispels any fears over a potential injury.

The Poland international had to come off before the hour mark against Middlesbrough.

Bielik was on the end of a dangerous tackle from George Saville, resulting in the Boro midfielder earning a straight red card. Derby eventually ran out 2-0 winners.

Manager Phillip Cocu told RamsTV how he withdrew Bielik as a precaution. And now the former Arsenal man has hinted on Instagram he will be ready for next weekend.

Bielik joined Derby in the summer for a projected £10 million fee.

The 21-year-old can both at centre-back and as a holding midfielder. In recent weeks, he has formed an excellent partnership alongside Graeme Shinnie in midfield.

Bielik is showing signs of his big potential. Off the ball, he is excellent at breaking up the opposition’s play, putting in key tackles and starting off potential counterattacks.

Against Boro, he made an impressive team-high six tackles in less than an hour.

Forest currently sit fifth in the Championship table. The Reds will look to dominate the ball at the City Ground, therefore Bielik’s presence will be so important for the Rams.

Derby head into the Forest game having not won on the road since the opening day of the season. The Rams will need their best players fit and at the top of their game.
