Derby County fans should be very pleased with themselves for how many people they have taken to away games this season.
The Rams won promotion back to the Championship in the 2023/24 season, finishing second in League One behind Portsmouth.
Paul Warne has since overseen two away league fixtures so far in the current campaign.
In a rather unwelcome return to the second division, Derby County lost 4-2 vs Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on the opening day of the season.
The Derbyshire outfit picked up their first win of 2024/25 in the following game week, beating Middlesbrough 1-0 at Pride Park.
However, their struggles on the road continued in their next league outing when Derby lost 2-1 vs Watford.
Their most recent league game, which was back on home soil, saw them secure a 3-0 win over Bristol City to move them up to 10th in the Championship table.
Derby County’s average away attendance record revealed
As it stands, Derby are yet to pick up a single point away from Pride Park in the 2024/25 campaign.
Despite this, the Rams have been able to take a very respectable crowd to both of their away fixtures this term.
As per Bristol World, Derby have an average away attendance record of 2,910 in the Championship this season.
That is pretty impressive for a club of the Rams’ size and even more staggering when compared to some of the more established Championship and ex-Premier League teams.

Upcoming Derby County away fixtures
Derby face Cardiff City at home this coming weekend but are back on the road the following week.
The Rams travel to Yorkshire for a clash with Sheffield United on September 21st.
Warne will then take his men to the Stadium of Light on October 1st for a meeting with Sunderland before another way trip to Millwall on October 19th.
Derby are yet to win an away game in 2024/25 and given how well the above trio have played so far this season, their loyal fans could be waiting a while to see three points won on the road.
