Kenzo Goudmijn is on the verge of sealing a move to Derby County as fresh details on his contract have now emerged.
Derby County have wasted no time readying themselves for the Championship having captured three new players since winning promotion.
Paul Warne signed Ben Osborn on a free transfer following his most recent spell at Sheffield United. He was joined at Pride Park by striking duo Jerry Yates and Kayden Jackson, who joined from Swansea City and Ipswich Town.
Warne said at the beginning of the transfer window that he wanted to sign at least nine players to beef out his squad and he could have landed his fourth as central midfielder Kenzo Goudmijn edges closer to a move, with the Dutchman’s contract details now emerging.

Kenzo Goudmijn’s contract details ahead of Derby County move
At the end of June, Derby were weighing up a move for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Goudmijn, who also attracted interest from Eredivisie rivals Heerenveen and Heracles Almelo.
Following a strong period of speculation, it seems the Rams have snapped up Goudmijn after agreeing to a £600k deal with the Dutch giants.
Various websites have reported the length of his contract – including the Dutch news outlet Telegraaf – who claim the 22-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Championship side.
Signing Goudmijn makes a swift change from their previous transfer exploits, as instead of just solely shopping the English leagues for talent, Derby may have struck gold by taking their scouts to the Netherlands.
What type of attributes Kenzo Goudmijn will bring to Derby County
Derby are looking for a creative midfielder to operate between the lines while drifting left and right to impact the game in an attacking sense.
Goudmijn is known for being a creative force centrally, shifting the ball onto either foot to fashion opportunities for his teammates.
The talented Dutchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam, and although he was unable to avoid relegation, he did tally 22 appearances and supply four assists, including two in the 7-1 thumping of Ado Den Haag in the relegation play-offs.
Hailed for showing ‘flashes of quality’ by talent scout Greg Spires, Goudmijn impressed by creating seven big chances in the Eredivisie while showcasing his appetite to win possession back with 5.2 balls recovered and 1.6 tackles per game.
The playmakers’ talents look tailor-made for him to operate in an attacking midfield role for Derby when Warne plays a 3-4-1-2 system, while when utilising the 4-3-3 formation, he’ll be deployed as a number eight.
With it looking increasingly likely that Goudmijn will be announced as a Derby player very soon, supporters can be happy with the business they’ve completed so far.
