According to a report by the Daily Mail, Sheffield Wednesday are to hold talks with West Bromwich Albion striker Kenneth Zohoro over a loan move to the Owls.
The Dane only joined the Baggies for £8 million last summer. However, West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is happy to loan him out, and he would represent an ideal option for Derby.
The Rams kicked off their Championship campaign with a limp 2-0 home defeat to Reading.

Derby failed to score in three out of four pre-season games, and now they start the campaign with a blank following the stalemate in the Carabao Cup tie with Barrow.
The Rams have been operating under a soft embargo this summer. Phillip Cocu’s side managed to strengthen the defence, and now they must turn to the attack.
MORE DERBY STORIES
Chris Martin and Mason Bennett have left, while injuries to Tom Lawrence and Martyn Waghorn have left Derby down to the bare bones heading into the season.
Jack Marriott, who scored just two league goals last season, was joined by academy trio Morgan Whittaker, Jason Knight and Louie Sibley in attack against Reading.
It was painful to watch, with Derby barely registering a decent opening.
Cocu enjoyed plenty of success at PSV Eindhoven with a battering ram in Luuk de Jong upfront. If he wants to replicate that style at Derby, then Zohore fits the bill.

The Dane stands at 6ft 2inch and leads the line well. He is physically imposing, a threat in the air while mobile enough to harry and press the defenders into mistakes.
The Daily Mail suggest the Owls are in pole position, but an automatic starting spot at a Derby side with top six ambitions would surely be more enticing.
