According to The Telegraph, Derby County wanted to snap up Chelsea talent Marcel Lewis.
Unfortunately for the Rams, theyβve already missed out on signing the teenage attacking midfielder.
Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise have confirmed the signing of Lewis, handing him a three-year contract with the option of a further year.
Lewis joined Chelsea from hometown club Cambridge United in 2015, and he has shown real potential with the Blues.
The 19-year-old has hit four goals and six assists in 16 Premier League 2 outings this season, but Chelsea have decided to let him go.

Derby were keen to bring him to Pride Park, whilst Championship rivals Huddersfield Town were also interested, only to miss out as he moves on to Belgium instead.

This could have been an exciting addition for Derby. The focus needs to be on signing youg and hungry players for the future, rather than going with overpaid, experienced players who landed the club in this mess.
Derby took Chelsea teenager Filip Lissah on trial in February, and signed Chelsea striker Malik Mothersille on loan in February, placing him in the Under-18βs.
