According to the BBC, Livingston have turned down a third offer for reported Derby County forward target Lyndon Dykes from an unnamed Championship team.
The Australian international has been heavily linked with a move south of the border.
Dykes posted 12 goals and ten assists in 33 Scottish Premiership games last season.
The forward’s form attracted a host of interest. TEAMtalk claimed back in November how Derby, Blackburn and Cardiff City were among the Championship clubs leading the race.
But it was Barnsley who began the bids for him this summer. The BBC claimed last month how the Tykes saw an initial £1 million offer turned down.

Now, the same editorial say a third seven-figure bid has been launched by an unknown Championship team. Livingston, however, are holding firm on their prized asset.
Derby have been quiet so far this summer but that must change soon.
The Rams finished tenth in the Championship this past season. Manager Phillip Cocu did a decent job in difficult circumstances, and now he needs the backing to strengthen.
Chris Martin has left Derby following his contract expiry. Jack Marriott, meanwhile, has suffered from niggling injuries while Martyn Waghorn’s contract is up next summer.
The Rams need another striker, and one which fits Cocu’s system and style of play.
Dykes, 24, stands at 6ft 2inch. He is quick, athletic and energetic off the ball. He could be exactly the sort of forward Derby are searching for to lead the line next season.
