Derby County manager Paul Warne manager has praised star winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing for his recent form.
The Guatemala international has been in incredible form for the Rams, scoring four goals in each of his last four games.
The 31-year-old scored the first of two goals on Sunday afternoon as Derby managed to come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away at Crewe Alexandra, to force a replay in the first round of the FA Cup.

Speaking to the Derby Telegraph following the draw at Crewe, Warne hailed Mendez-Laing for his recent form.
“He’s like my pin-up boy at the moment, I have a picture of him in my house at home.
“But in all seriousness, he has done really well. Goalscoring is a confidence thing and every time he is on the pitch, he thinks he is going to score. We need five, six, and seven others with that, but goals come in waves. At the moment he has got a tsunami of goals so good on him.”

Mendez-Laing is in brilliant form, carrying Derby in some games.
He has recently spoken about his win form, saying he is ‘buzzing’ with his brilliant form of late.
As aforementioned, his goal on Sunday was his fourth goal in his last four games.
With Derby having struggled to score goals as of late, the £4.9k-a-week star’s form is a shining light of hope that Derby can start to put the ball in the back of the next on a more regular basis, in what would be a massive boost for Warne after recently speaking out in his ‘frustration’ with Derby not putting away many of the chances they create.
