Derby County boss Paul Warne will make one major change to his side against Coventry City.
The Rams are hoping to put a spell of four games without a win behind them as they face a trip to Coventry City.
Derby County have quite simply not been up to scratch at any point in the 2024/25 Championship season in regards to away form, and that continued last time out against Stoke City, where Paul Warne’s side ran out second-best.
The Rams will be expecting to be led out in a slightly altered formation, which looked to initially give Derby County an extra dimension when going forward.
Despite this, there are still several injuries that Warne has to take into account, and that will without a doubt affect his selection on Wednesday evening.

Derby County absentees ahead of Coventry City clash
Crystal Palace loanee David Ozoh remains sidelined till the international break, therefore the 19-year-old will yet again be a major absence for Warne’s side.
Another man that continues his spell on the sidelines is Ryan Nyambe, who is out for six months. The right-back has damaged his posterior ligament and will likely be out of action until the new year.
Tawanda Chirewa is also a doubt for the game, and his quad injury will keep him on the sidelines for at least another month.

How Derby County could line up against Coventry City
One pick for Warne that is as good as guaranteed at this point is the decision to start with Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in-between the sticks for the Rams.
The Derby County shot-stopper will likely have an altered back-line in front of him, with the Rams boss being likely to utilise a back-three, which improved his side last time out. As a result, Eiran Cashin and Curtis Nelson will retain their spots at the back, and they will be joined by Nat Phillips.
At wing-back, Callum Elder’s recent showing in the second-half against Stoke City will be enough to earn him a spot, whilst on the right side, Warne may opt for Marcus Harness.
As for the midfield, Ebou Adams and Ben Osborn both started last time out, and due to the current issues within the squad, they will almost certainly retain their spots. Kenzo Goudmijn will also be due for a return to the starting side after being dropped to the bench for the first time this season against Stoke after an ‘unbelievable’ start to the season.
Starting up top, Kayden Jackson will partner Jerry Yates for Derby County.
Here is how we think they will line up…
Jacob Widell Zetterstrom (GK), Eiran Cashin, Nat Phillips, Curtis Nelson, Callum Elder, Marcus Harness, Ebou Adams, Ben Osborn, Kenzo Goudmijn, Kayden Jackson, Jerry Yates
