Derby County will be looking to build off their win against Exeter City on Tuesday night with another win away at Stevenage on Saturday afternoon.
The Rams won 2-0 at Pride Park, to push themselves up to eighth place in League One, two points off the play-off places.
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored the first, poking in from close range after some nice play from Max Bird and Craig Forsyth down the left hand side.
Conor Washington then got the second, cutting in from the left hand side and finishing with a low driven shot at the near post to secure the three points.
Mendez-Laing’s performance in particular was praised, being called an ‘unbelievable talent’ by manager Paul Warne, who also claimed he is their ‘most exciting player’.
Who is out for Derby on Saturday?
Currently Derby County don’t have many players out on the sidelines, with Tyreece John-Jules the only player still on the injury list.
Callum Elder and Joe Ward have returned to training following recoveries from a hernia and a knee injury respectively, with both playing 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Stoke City for the under-21s.
This could get them fully fit ahead of this Saturday, so we could potentially see them both coming in for Craig Forsyth at left back and Ryan Nyambe at right back.
Although, Nyambe has been in brilliant form as of late, putting in a brilliant performance against Exeter.
Warne is unlikely to make many changes though, especially after a comfortable win.
James Collins could come back in up front for Martyn Waghorn, who did not have the best game on Tuesday.
