One Derby County man must step up amid the absence of Jerry Yates.
Derby County are gearing up for their upcoming clash against Swansea City at home.
The Rams will be hoping that they can stretch their unbeaten run to four games in the Championship, after previously notching five points in their previous three.
Whilst on paper it will seem like a game that Derby should be walking away from with all three points, against a side with just two wins in their previous 10, and who currently find themselves sat 14th in the league table, the Rams will have to be without one key man.
Jerry Yates, who has racked up plenty of praise from teammates in recent weeks for his performances, has managed to bag three consecutive goals in the Championship, however he will be unavailable for the upcoming clash against his parent club, who he joined on-loan from this summer.
As a result, one man has a glorious opportunity to prove Paul Warne wrong over one key selection issue.

Kayden Jackson set to be handed opportunity to prove Paul Warne wrong for Derby County vs Swansea
As a result of the costly absence of Yates against his parent club, Warne will be looking towards his options as to who can potentially fill his void leading the line.
The most obvious choice up top for the Rams is undoubtedly Kayden Jackson, who has continuously been played out-of-position on the right-flank so far this season, and as a result has not been able to replicate the levels he has shown previously in his career.
There will without a doubt be frustration inside Jackson due to him not being utilised to the best of his abilities, however, Warne should be aware that he is the best option outside of Yates to lead the line, and it will be an opportunity for the former Ipswich attacker to prove his recent selection wrong.

Paul Warne has no reason to persevere with Kayden Jackson experiment vs Swansea
It is clear that Warne was simply attempting to shoehorn Jackson into the side, without taking out Yates, but due to the latters’ absence, there is no reason as to why the Rams boss should logically continue with him at right-wing.
There are other options elsewhere to lead the line, including James Collins and Dajaune Brown, but there will be much more success from Jackso up top, and Warne must see that continuing to use him on the right flank, especially when he is a striker down, will never lead to him seeing the very best of the summer signing.
