Paul Warne has confirmed that Derby County will keep hold of one of their players this month.
Derby County have so far been very quiet in the transfer window, bringing in no new faces as of yet. However, on the positive side, they have also managed to keep hold of all of their key players.
Despite heavy rumours linking Eiran Cashin with a move to the Premier League in the summer, there has been very few murmurs of a potential exit in the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, the likes of Max Bird and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing have also remained at Pride Park, with the latter putting pen-to-paper on a new deal earlier this month.
The Rams have made it clear that they wish to bolster their attack though, with recent reports claiming that Sheffield Wednesday striker Michael Smith is very likely to join them in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Derby have long been in talks with Arsenal over extending Tyreece John-Jules loan spell at the League One club. The youngster joined in the summer, with his £4,600-per-week contract in the English capital expiring later this year.
The 22-year-old, who only returned from a thigh injury in November, has netted one goal for Derby ahead of a planned return to the Emirates Stadium this month.
Paul Warne has now provided fans with good news though, with John-Jules now set to stay at Pride Park until the summer.
Speaking to the BBC, Warne said: “I believe it is all signed and delivered.
“He is staying until the end of the season, which is good because we are getting more game time out of him.”

With both Conor Washington and Martyn Waghorn struggling with injuries this season, Derby County don’t want to risk losing any more of their strikers as they bid to win promotion back to the Championship.
Tyreece John-Jules has had a positive impact since coming back into the team after adopting a new position playing just behind James Collins.
The forward provides some much-needed strength in depth, whilst also adding creativity and an attacking threat in what will be a very important final few months of the campaign.
He isn’t going to be the striker that bags loads of goals for The Rams, but they don’t exactly need that from him. James Collins has been brilliant this term, while Michael Smith can come in and provide that competition for the current No.9.
The Owls star netted 34 goals in League One over the past two seasons, while he also has three promotions to his name.
