Another defender has been linked with a deadline day move to Derby County.
Derby County look as though they’re plotting a busy final day of the summer transfer window.
On Thursday, it was revealed that Paul Warne is wanting some last-minute summer signings, with three names on Derby County’s radar.
Warne is also ready to explore the free agent market on deadline day and beyond, should the Rams fail to sign their three transfer targets.
One name linked with a move to Pride Park is Liam Cooper.
Centre-back Cooper was released by Leeds United this summer and recently saw a move to Hull City fall through, with Derby now keeping tabs on the Scot.

Derby County exploring loan deal for Leicester City man Ben Nelson
Journalist Darren Witcoop has now revealed that Derby County are among the teams looking into a loan deal for Leicester City centre-back Ben Nelson.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Derby County were keeping tabs on a number of Leicester City youngsters who could potentially leave on loan.
Nelson was one, but Witcoop has also revealed that the 20-year-old has interest from Portsmouth and Swansea City.
Should Derby County sign Liam Cooper or Ben Nelson
Both players have possible advantages over the other for Derby County.
Cooper obviously brings a wealth of experience, and if he signs, he’ll be Derby County’s player.
Nelson meanwhile is younger and fresher in the game, and may have a yard of pace over the 33-year-old Cooper.
Nelson though is vastly inexperienced, having played just five Championship games in his career, with all five of them coming last season.
A centre-back signing seems like a priority though, and for Warne, it may be a case of whichever signing comes first; Cooper or Nelson.
