According to Aksam, Galatasaray have given up the chase to sign Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak with the Pole set to join Championship side Derby County.
The Rams have been linked with Jozwiak since the January transfer window.
Polstat Sport first covered Derby’s interest in Jozwiak alongside Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers, with Lech Poznan at the time seeking a £3 million fee.
But after a summer of subsequent interest, Derby seemingly faced strong competition.
Istanbul editorial Spormani claimed last week how Galatasaray representatives were to land in Poland to try and thrash out a deal for Jozwiak including Jakub Moder.

The two Lech Poznan players were among manager Faith Terim’s summer wish-list.
The latest news from Aksam, however, claim Galatasaray have given up the chase for Jozwiak, conceding him to Derby with a deal expected to be completed soon.
Jozwiak’s arrival would provide a huge boost for the Rams.
Phillip Cocu’s side head into the season opener against Reading coming off the back of a disappointing set of results in pre-season, failing to score in three out of four games.
Moreover, the 0-0 draw with Barrow in the Carabao Cup did little to appease the concerns.
Many supporters feel Derby lack quality in the final third. With Mason Bennett and Chris Martin also no longer around, there is a noticeable lack of options.
But Jozwiak could start to fill a huge void. The 22-year-old is quick, skilful and direct. He is exactly what this Derby team needs, while his potential could see him go far.
